Salvador Videgain García (Madrid, February 26, 1886 – f. ib., October 12, 1957) was a famous actor of comedy and zarzuela during the first half of the 20th century in Spain. He was born and died in Madrid. He was known artistically as Salvador Videgain, was a theatrical entrepreneur, author, actor, theater director, Spanish.
== Career Biography ==
Salvador Videgain García was a descendant the Basques, Andaluces and Irish. He was an actor, businessman of theatre and creator of stars in Spain. Among the other new actors he introduced to works of theatre audiences for the first time, were Angel de Andrés, Celia Gámez, Rafaela Aparicio, José Alvárez and Raquel Daina. He was the son of Salvador Videgain Gómez, an actor of theatre, and Antonia García, an actress and singer of zarzuela.
